Shari Wilson likes to write stories about young love, and how powerful such experiences can be on a young adult. Having struggled with anxiety and depression for most of her life, she is passionate about normalizing the conversations around mental health as well as the positive role the human-canine bond can play in one’s treatment and recovery.
Shari is just beginning her journey as a writer by pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. She has spent the last twenty years as a Software Engineer, but writing has been something she has dreamed about doing since she was a child. Raised in East Rochester, NY, Shari currently lives in New Hill, NC with her husband, two daughters, and five dogs.
